EXPOSURE CORRECTION
STEP
ONE
The
exposure of picture is very dark and it is called as
underexposed picture. We will correct the exposure
of the image using Photoshop.
First
open the image in Photoshop. First step is to
duplicate the background layer (short key CTRL+J)
now make sure that the new duplicate layer is
selected. Go to image /adjustment/equalizer

The
equalizer tool automatically correct the exposure of
the picture if it be over exposed it will correct it
and when it is underexposed it will also correct it.
STEP
TWO
Duplicate the back ground copy layer (CTRL+J) so it
become background copy layer 2 and then adjust the
Gaussian blur at .1 radius( Filter/Blur/Gaussian
Blur) and press ok. Also adjust the sharpen at .5
radius at 100 amount and threshold at o and press ok
(Filter/Sharpen/ Unsharpened mask)

STEP
THREE
Now
we correct the color balance for that open a new
adjustment layer of color balance (Layers/New
Adjustment layer/color balance) and then press
ok. Adjust the color levels as follow for shadows +5,-10, +1 for midtones -3, -1, -6 and for
highlights -8,-1,-3 and then press ok.

STEP
FOUR
Now
we adjust the Brightness/contrast for that open a
new adjustment layer of Brightness/contrast
(layers/New Adjustment Layer/Brightness/contrast)
and then press ok. Adjust the contrast value to +5.
